The San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal honored HouseCanary as one of the Bay Area’s Best Places to Work in 2019. We made this list in 2018, and knowing how strong the local competition is we’re proud to have made the cut again.
The Business Journal determines the Best Places to Work list based on employee satisfaction surveys. Out of 500 Bay Area companies that submitted a survey this year, our San Francisco office ranked #18 for the small company category. HouseCanary has additional offices in San Antonio, Texas and Boulder, Colorado which weren’t included in this survey.
HouseCanary’s Head of People Operations Alice Tang and Talent Sourcer Ivy Rivero accepted the award at an event at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.
“The ceremony was really fun,” said Ivy. “We were able to see what other companies are doing, we were able to hear about their experiences with their employees and how their People Ops are pushing out fun initiatives for their employees. It was really great to know that we’re among those top companies in the Bay Area.”
“It’s exciting that our employees voted again to win as part of the best places to work” said Alice, who already has her eyes on the prize for 2020. “Hopefully we can make it to top 10! That’s the goal for next year.”
The Silicon Valley Business Journal provides the Bay Area with the latest breaking business news. It is part of the American City Business Journals, which also produce 42 other local business newspapers.
