Higher Housing Prices In Blue States May Affect Presidential Election

HouseCanary reveals growing divide between housing values in red states and blue states

Just in time for the election debates, The Guardian featured HouseCanary’s newly released study showcasing four decades of changing real estate values.  The study shows a growing inequity in home appreciation value among states that traditionally vote Democratic and those that vote Republican.  What impact does this have on voters as they head to the polls?

As Jana Kasperkevic writes: “The divide between blue states and red states is likely to continue growing. According to HouseCanary, over the next three years, house values in all states are likely to grow between 10% to 12% – but those increases will look significantly different in blue states and in red states.” CONTACT US for more information.
